Bob Marley and the Wailers need little introduction - the man and his band are quite simply the essence of reggae culture. An iconic figure in popular music, Marley's messages of peace and unity live on through the music, decades after his tragic death through cancer at the age of 36.

This concert - performed during the Natty Dread tour in 1975 and broadcast on the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio show in the US - was one of two landmark gigs at London's Lyceum Ballroom (17th &18th July, 1975). Playing to a sold-out audience of 2,100, this classic set, along with the championing of Chris Blackwell at Island Records, helped to make Bob Marley and the Wailers a breakthrough international success, sparking an explosion of interest in reggae music and culture worldwide.
